A Cozy Escape in the North Georgia Mountains

At Blue Door, we believe your stay should feel like home—comfortable, welcoming, and just a little magical. Tucked in the treetops just minutes from downtown Dahlonega, this two-bedroom retreat is a favorite for wedding guests, UNG families, wine lovers, hikers, and anyone craving a peaceful getaway.

Whether you're here for a special occasion or a spontaneous escape, you'll find everything you need to unwind and recharge.

The Space

Treehouse Feel, Modern Comfort
Blue Door isn’t actually a treehouse—but it sure feels like one. The second-story great room looks out over the trees, creating a peaceful, elevated vibe. You’ll love the open-concept living area, fully stocked kitchen, private sunset deck, and thoughtful touches throughout.

Locally Curated Art
What makes the space truly special is the art—each piece was handpicked from Dahlonega’s Town Square galleries and shops. It’s not just a place to stay. It’s a place to feel inspired.

Space to Rest and Reset
With two cozy bedrooms, a full bathroom downstairs, and a convenient half bath upstairs, there’s space for everyone. The pullout couch with a gel foam mattress makes it easy to sleep 4 comfortably.

Dog-Friendly, Guest-Focused
Bring your pups (up to two well-behaved dogs welcome!) and feel at home. You’ll find everything you need to get started—from coffee pods and paper goods to streaming access and smart check-in.
